Walnut Studios

Walnut Studios is a 4-story 100% affordable housing development, consisting of 23 studio units and 2-bedroom staff unit, in San Carlos, CA. Of the 23 studios, 6 are restricted for tenants at or below 30% AMI, 6 at 40% AMI, 6 at 50% AMI, 5 at 60% AMI, and 2 for formerly homeless tenants. Catholic Charities will provide service coordination for the residents and case management for the formerly homeless tenants. The building features 20 parking spaces, bike storage, community room, laundry facilities, and outdoor terraces. The project is located just two blocks from Rt. 82 (El Camino Real), a block away from the shops on Laurel St, and walking distance to the San Carlos CalTrain station. We anticipate construction completion by the end of October 2021. We will update our website when accepting applications including the application and how to apply for our wait list.
