How do I apply?
To apply visit our website on the “Find a Home” page www.charitieshousing.org/find-a-home. Select the property you are interested in applying for. Fill out the rental housing application, mail or drop off at the property location.
What is the application process?
- Find a Home: Visit the “Find a Home” page to see which properties are currently accepting applications.
- Download an Application: Each community has its own leasing office and waiting list. You can download an application and informational flyer from the property-specific links. If you have questions about apartment availability, rent, income requirements, or program restrictions, contact the property manager. The “Find a Home” page is updated regularly as vacancies occur.
- Get Help: If you have any questions about the application process, ask the property manager. Our team is here to help you every step of the way.
How do I get on a waitlist?
To get on a waitlist, you must fill out a rental housing application located on our website. You will be entered according to the day and time the application was received (date and time stamped).
How long do I have to wait?
The length of time will depend on the property’s vacancies and units that are available. Typically, 6-12 months. To avoid being removed from the waiting list, be sure to respond to all calls and letters from the property.
How do I know if I am qualified?
The qualification will be determined during the housing intake. Your application information will be processed and verified by the property management and compliance. Eligibility is based on employment/ income verification, asset verification, background check screening, credit report – scoring point system and landlord reference.

Some properties allow pets please contact the site directly to inquire. Also, a service or companion animal is permitted upon a reasonable accommodation approved by the 504 Coordinator
